Voices of Change: Empowering Women Leaders

The Center for Transformative Action (CTA) is proud to present Voices of Change, an initiative dedicated to amplifying the stories and achievements of women leaders across various sectors. This project seeks to inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders by highlighting the journeys, challenges, and triumphs of those who have paved the way for social change.

One of our key initiatives is EmpowerEd, a dynamic program designed to celebrate Women’s History Month by fostering leadership and entrepreneurial spirit among young women. In partnership with the Mills Institute, CTA is collaborating with the Lokey School of Business to host a Social Entrepreneurship Workshop and Mini Pitch Competition. This event will engage high school girls from East Bay area school districts, introducing them to the world of social entrepreneurship and guiding them as they develop innovative solutions to real-world sustainability challenges. Participants will not only gain insights into the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals but also sharpen their leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Through projects like EmpowerEd, Voices of Change offers a platform for students and community members alike to learn from inspiring women in technology, education, and activism. The initiative also features interviews, documentaries, and public lectures that showcase diverse perspectives on women’s leadership in shaping a more equitable future. By fostering connections between emerging leaders and established changemakers, CTA continues to promote a culture of empowerment and transformative action.
